- This department is known for its indigenous methods of patient care and teaching. A wide variety of contemporary orthopedics surgeries like spinal surgery, arthroscopy, joint replacement surgeries, complex trauma surgeries, etc are conducted. It also has editors office of the National Journal-“Indian Journal of Orthopaedics”. The department is also running a low cost Bone Bank, Providing partially decalcified allograft.

- Dedicated Orthopaedics outdoor and trauma indoor patient care.
- Routine Orthoaedics surgeries which includes joint replacement, Spine Surgery, Minimally invasive surgeries like arthroscopies, C-arm facilities, Onco-surgeries, trauma surgeries, etc.
- Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
